Planning a wedding doesn't have to be stressful. We are here to help you every step of the way! On the first Wednesday of each month we will have a Wednesday's Wedding Tip that we will share to use while planning your wedding. As we said, we've seen some amazing things and some not so amazing things. Our third tip of this wedding planning series - Take Your Time, Don't Rush Things!
Longer engagements are becoming more and more popular. Not rushing into the process can be beneficial. Take the time to decide what is important and what may not be so important to you for your big day. There's no need to make rash decisions that you may regret later.
Start by making a list of everything you want for your dream wedding. If you fiancé is interested in the planning, let him make his own list as well. Then sit down together and read each other's lists to see how many things you both agree on. Make those things a priority.
A longer engagement can help with the financial aspect as well. The longer you wait, the more money you can save up. You can have more time to research the things you want, like venues and vendors. Determine when their "off season" times are and book early so the prices don't go up.
