Last week Stephen and I set out for the beautiful city of San Antonio, Texas for the 148th annual ImagingUSA conference! When I became a member of the PPA last year, this was the first thing I signed up for and have been anxiously awaiting it's arrival! Being our first time to experience ImagingUSA, we were not sure what to expect. For those of you who don't know, ImagingUSA is a learning expo that is hosted by the Professional Photographers of America. The PPA is the world's largest non-profit association for professional photographers whose mission is to create a vibrant community of successful professional photographers by providing education, resources and industry standards of excellence. Every year they host ImagingUSA where more than 10,000 photographers, from around the world, gather to learn and network!
For three days straight, from sunup to AFTER sundown we were engaged in classes, expos and parties! Like I said, we had no idea what we were in for, but it was an experience we won't soon forget! We have learned so much about how to make this business better for YOU. We have found all new vendors with products that I know you guys will LOVE! With all the knowledge we have gained from this experience, we are super excited to bring our new hopes and dreams to fruition and make this studio the best it can be!
Check out some of our snapshots below! Just a little taste of San Antonio and all the fun we had! I mean the Alamo was right outside our window, how cool is that?! Good food, good people and good fun!
(yes, I know the pictures are fuzzy, that's what I get for using my phone camera instead of my Nikon! Lesson learned!)
